Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop new customers for our products and services, which include industrial lasers, laser micro-machining systems, and contract manufacturing services.
  • Establish sales networks in US, including distributorship and sales representatives.
  • Maintain and grow our existing customer base by supporting their needs
  • Establish the connection between our customers and the internal technical support team to provide industry leading customer support.
  • Generate and provide quotation to the customer.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time to establish new customers and visit existing customers.
  • Establish the sales team from the scratch.
  • Efficiently manage the sales team to grow the company revenue and profit.
  • This position can be remote.

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience to customer in industrial machine tools and laser technologies.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales management experience.
  • Both large and small company experience
  • Knowledge of lasers, laser applications and laser micro-machining systems.
  • Excellent self-learning capabilities.
  • Experience in maintaining a Salesforce (SFDC) database.
  • Excellent people skills and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and relationships with customers and competitors
  • Excellent contract and negotiation skills.
  • Successful track record and a team player is a must.
  • MS Office highly proficient.

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: up to $300,000.00 based on experience.
  • Year-end Bonus based on sales performance.
  • Can be qualified for stock incentive plan.
  • 401k retirement plan.

Job Duties:     

  • Conduct experiments on laser-material interactions to assess feasibility for various laser-based applications.
  • Develop optimized laser parameters for processing metals, ceramics, and polymers, based on diverse and custom application requirements.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of laser source technologies, including nanosecond and ultrafast (picosecond/femtosecond) lasers, across wavelengths such as deep UV, UV, green, and IR. Match laser types (DPSS, MOPA, Fiber, CO₂) to specific material processing and system integration needs.
  • Troubleshoot and support the full workflow of laser control systems, including software (EZCAD, Samlight, DMC), control cards (e.g., RTC series, JCZ), and hardware components (laser source, beam delivery system) for galvo-based, gantry, and cutting-head laser platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across the U.S. and Asia to develop conceptual laser processing system designs.
  • Utilize knowledge in robotics and control to design system automation workflow.
  • Create 3D models and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks to support system conceptualization and development.
  • Use Python programming with Raspberry Pi to develop Internet of Things (IoT) diagrams for prototyping and feasibility testing.
  • Utilize proficiency in SolidWorks CAD design and 3D printing to design and manufacture tools and fixtures to facilitate the lab-testing workflow.
  • Integrate knowledge in optics, electronics, mechanics, and software to validate, test, and troubleshoot laboratory and demo units.
  • Implement machine learning and evolutionary algorithms to train internal models for optimizing laser processing parameters.

Requirements:          

  • Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or in a closely related field.
  • Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Subtractive Manufacturing, Evolutionary Algorithm, and Robotics Engineering.
  • Proficient in Laser machining and 3D printing, rapid tooling, and parts prototyping, Mechanical Design, CAD modeling, SolidWorks, Robotics Learning, and PLC programing.

Job Duties:     

  • Conduct feasibility tests on customer samples and optimized laser parameter sets to deliver industry-ready recipes while designing auxiliary tools.
  • Work with various laser sources and system (Galvo-scanner based system and Bessel Beam system), including nanosecond and ultrafast (picosecond/femtosecond) lasers across major wavelengths (266 nm, UV, Green, IR) and multiple types (Diode-Pumped Solid-State (DPSS), MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier), Fiber, CO₂).
  • Develop and propose customized solutions, communicate with the Engineering team in Asia to design and deliver turnkey laser systems that align with customer specifications and budget.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laser systems and laser sources in the lab, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure continuous operation and optimal performance.
  • Oversee system manufacturing and resolving issues related to software functionality, beam alignment drift, galvo calibration, and compliance requirements to meet customer’s Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Apply regression modeling in combination with evolutionary computation techniques to analyze experimental laser processing data. Develop predictive models to estimate optimal laser and equipment parameters required to meet specific quality and throughput targets.
  • Use tools, machines and equipment, including varies laser source and laser system, SolidWorks, 3D Printer, Python.

  • Knowledge of Digital Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Evolutionary Computation.
